Welcome to the World of the Enchanted Farmhouse

The original story, "Welcome to the Enchanted Farmhouse," was written as a chapter book are perfect for readers aged 7–10 and read aloud to young elementary aged children. The stories are filled with wonder, friendship, and family fun... plus a mischievous sprite or two! 

In an effort to make the stories more accessible for littles,  I rewrote the stories into a picture book format. This format also created many more bite-sized stories and adventures to share  with the goal of monthly releases of this special book. 

 Lisa is a retired Kindergarten and Middle School teacher and children's theater director. A mother of four adult children, grandma, auntie to seven nieces and nephews; and a great-niece. Lisa has been married to her best friend and husband for over 30 years, and they reside in California. Together with her husband, they have created the Blissful Leisure Guide brand, which includes a website/lifestyle online magazine with travel tips, self-care, mindfulness, and wellness tips, articles, and products, with the goal of helping readers find joy, bliss, and living life to the fullest. 

Recently retired from teaching, Mrs. Kennealy and her husband relocated to southern California to be closer to her grandson. On a lunch date in a beautiful backcountry town, they stumbled upon a charming yellow farmhouse that was for sale. Loving the area for many years, they decided to make the little yellow farmhouse their home.  As projects were taken on to make this house their home, they found that there was magic in the air as they created their sanctuary. The new home inspired Mrs. Kennealy so deeply that the story of the Enchanted Farmhouse and Blissful Leisure Botanicals, a line of handcrafted, all natural products (available on ETSY), were born.
