We have bird feeders on our porch and we love watching the many birds that visit us daily, especially the hummingbirds.

My oldest daughter played Puck in A Midsummer’s Night Dream last summer. She’s an actor who loves Shakespeare. Her reception as Puck to the kids at the show inspired me to include Shakespmean characters like Puck and Queen Titiana, who are found in A Midsummer’s Night Dream.
She also played Miranda in Shakespeare’s “The Tempest.” Young readers will learn that a Tempest is a great storm in Book 1, as “The Tempest” is one of the challenges of our story’s protagonists.
